MORNING WITH MOM
Thursday, April 21st 7:30-8:30 am

Note: Pastries with Parsons 4/21 has been canceled
Ms. Parsons will be at Morning with Mom if you have any questions, concerns or just want to stop by to say hello!

It’s Spring Celebration Time at Fallon! The PFC is Hosting a Mustang Round Up Friday, May 20th 4-8pm Please join us for Fallon’s Community Celebration to celebrate our wonderful students & faculty, the amazing year we’ve had, and the excitement of Fallon transitioning into a dedicated Middle School and the opening of Kolb Elementary! What great reasons to have a fun, family event! More information will follow soon.
 
Some of the evening’s festivities…
  • Basketball Game Between ” Faculty vs. Middle School Students” with half time performances by Students (Cheer, Band, Leadership) and a teacher talent showcase (6-7:30pm)
  • A Catered Pasta Feed Dinner – possibly two seating times 5-6pm and 7:30-8:30
  • Carnival games for K-5 (4-6PM).The $5 ticket price per person includes all games + dinner.
  • Awesome silent auction items will be on hand for you to bid on! A list of donated items by our Fallon Families and community businesses.
To make this fantastic event happen we need parent volunteers to help! We’re looking for MANY volunteers to help with everything from the event preparation and set up to the clean up! If you would like to know more about how you can help or are interesting in volunteering, please contact:

MINDS IN MOTION!!!! Huge Success!!!

We raised an outstanding $7,633.33 for the school!

  • $5,352.42 will be given to the elementary library to order books to enhance the elementary collection (K-5).
  • $2,280.94 will be given to the middle school English department to purchase core literature sets of novels.
 
Morning With Mom: April 21st from 7:30-8:30am!
 
Calling all Fallon Dads! We hope you enjoyed your Donuts with Dad event last Fall and hope you’re willing to return the favor to all the deserving Fallon Moms/Grandmas/significant females by helping with the Morning with Mom event. We’re looking for a co-chairperson and helpers to organize, set up, serve, and clean up this fun morning! We’ll provide you with all the information and planning tools you need! We need several more volunteers to make this a success, so grab some of your buddies and contact the chairperson, Tamra Spade (t1spade@aol.com) ASAP.
 
Teacher Appreciation Luncheon – Chair Needed
 
We are looking for a person who can organize a fun luncheon for our wonderful Fallon staff for Teacher Appreciation Day on May 2nd. Please contact Melinda Reed or Nancy Chazen ASAP if you would like to be part of this wonderful event.

Board Elections – Calling all energetic and active volunteers!If you are interested in being a part of Fallon Middlel School’s 2011-2012 PFC board, please come to our next meeting on May 3rd at 6:30pm in the media center for more information. It’s rewarding AND fun!
 
Ice Cream Sales

Spring is here and we’re looking for volunteers to help sell ice cream on Fridays. Please contact Sanie Brock (saniebrock@hotmail.com) if you’d like to be part of this COOL team!

Elementary yearbook prices are now $30 a book. Hurry – quantities are limited! You can buy online at www.jostensyearbooks.com.
