- Two groups are receiving special recognition – Fallon and Wells Midle School for participation in the CPR 7 project, as well as teachers who have completed the Tri-Valley Teacher Induction Program
- On the consent calendar is the project bid for the demolition of old Dublin High buildings now replaced by the new buildings opened earlier this year, as well as approving course material for new Dublin High courses (including AP Psychology)
- May 11 with be formally recognized as the Day of the Teacher (consistent with a State of California initiative) along with the Classified School Employees Week (May 15-21)

- The upcoming agenda is mainly focused on the recommendations for reconfiguring Green and Fallon schools with the opening of Kolb Elementary (Fall 2011). There Board of Trustees may be voting on the issue at Tuesday’s meeting (if no vote is taken Nov. 2, it is highly likely a vote will occur at the Nov 16 Board meeting).
- From numerous proposals that have been discussed, two proposals are being presented to the Board for discussion and possible action.

This week’s agenda is brief. The Green / Kolb / Fallon grade configuration issue is not on the agenda but parents are encouraged to attend and make 3-minute statements (comments can be made or submitted on non-agenda items).
Regarding the Green / Fallon / Kolb issue, Dr. Hanke provided the following information today: “The Green / Fallon survey results will be discussed as a part of the Boundary Committee Report / Recommendation to be presented at the 11/2 Board Meeting. November meetings are the first and third due to Thanksgiving week.”
