Time is Running Out to Get Your Raise Your Class Gaela Ticketsl!

The 6th Annual Raise Your Class Gaela – 80’s Prom Night – is taking place on Friday, Nov. 1 from 6:30-11 p.m. at the Shannon Center. We have a great night planned! Dinner, dancing, auctions, a prize wheel, balloons loaded with great prizes, a photo booth – all to benefit our kids. PFSO funds have been providing needed support to academic departments throughout Dublin High and this is how we re-fill our coffers!

Individual tickets can be purchased for $60 per person. Table of eight can also be purchased and we have two VIP Tables still available for $700 ($87.50 per person for a table of eight). VIP Tables include wine, dessert, first-in-line at the buffet and gift bags.

Our auctions are loaded with great items including a Las Vegas timeshare weekend, a chef’s table for four at Forbes’ Mill and great tickets to sporting events and concerts!

Scrip Renewal

Please remember to visit http://www.escrip.com/ and renew your account to benefit Dublin High PFSO. Each year your escrip account must be renewed by November 1st for the school to receive donations from your Safeway purchases.

Don’t Forget the Tri-Valley College Fair 2013

For Girls Interested in Technology, Science and Engineering

DHS is recruiting female students who are interested in exploring STEM related courses and careers through GetSet. In GetSet (Girls Exploring, Technology, Science, and Engineering Together) girls engage in 8 hands-on workshops, 4 field trips, and networking/career exploration events. Any female student (grades 9-12) who is interested can join GetSet. For more information, please have the student stop by the College & Career Center by October 16, 2013.

Fundraisers

Regal movie tickets will be on sale every Friday (except Homecoming week) in front of Student Activities at lunch. Ticket prices are $8 per ticket for non pass-restricted movies.

Parents who want to buy tickets in bulk can contact 828-7060 or email Cyber Stacey at dublinhighpfso@dublinhighpfso.com to make arrangements. This fundraiser benefits the Class of 2014.

Come See the First Drama Club Production of the Year!

Dublin High School Drama returns to the stage with Shakespeare’s classic “As You Like It” for a four performance run: Thursday, October 24 through Sunday, October 27. Thursday, Friday and Saturday the curtain will rise at 7:00p.m. Sunday is a 2 p.m. matinee showing. Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for students. For more information please visit www.DHSDrama.org.

Student Store is Open!

Students and parents can purchase their DHS Spirit Wear at the Student Store. Items such as DHS blankets, rally towels, hats, scarves, polo shirts plus sweatshirts and more are available.

The store is located inside Student Activities with items available for purchase each day during school hours.

Wellness Fair and SeeDubRun 5K Run/Walk

  • Date: Sunday, October 20, 2013
  • Times: Fair – 8:00 AM to Noon Run – 9:00 AM
  • Place: Dublin High School

This fun and exciting new event will educate attendees on the importance of physical fitness and social/emotional well being. Character development, anti-Bullying and the concept of how these areas are interwoven and can strengthen each other will be the ongoing theme of the day.
