PSAT Results Night

PSAT Results Night is Wednesday, Jan. 8th at 6:30 p.m. in the Student Union. All students who took the exam on October 19th should plan to attend this informational night to get their results. A representative from Revolution Test Prep will be there to review your results and teach you how to use them as a study guide for the SAT.

Parents are encouraged to come as well and have their questions answered about college admissions tests.

If you are unable to attend this night you can pick up your results during lunch or after school in the counseling office starting January 9th.

From the Career Center

Please check out the updated Career Center website! http://www.dublin.k12.ca.us/Page/928 For scholarship opportunities, look under the Scholarships & Financial Aid section. The scholarship Excel grid will be updated often, so check back frequently!

Think Fast!

Think fast: what makes you laugh? Now you’re thinking like an improv performer! For quick, unpredictable and hilarious fun come see Dublin High School’s very own Improv team “Improv the Nation” 7PM on January 10th and 11th in the Little Theatre. General admission is $5.

Fundraisers Galore

**Regal movie tickets are on sale every Friday in front of Student Activities during lunch. Ticket prices are $8 per ticket for non-pass-restricted movies.
Please contact Cyber Stacey at dublinhighpfso@dublinhighpfso.com or call Yvonne at 828-7060 or Stacey at 833-0884 to make arrangements if you want to buy in bulk or cannot make it to DHS at lunch time. This fundraiser benefits the Class of 2014.

Student Directed One Acts are Coming!

The Dublin High Drama Club student-directed One Act Plays, an annual favorite, have been announced and cast. The four performance run opens Thursday January 30 at 7pm, with performances continuing Friday and Saturday at 7pm and Sunday at 2pm. Tickets are $10 for Adults and $7 for Students.

For Parents of Spring Sport Atheletes

Spring Sports (Baseball, Softball, Track and Field, Boys and Girls Lacrosse, Swimming, Boys Tennis and Boys Golf) will be here before you know it. Tryouts officially start on Feb. 10th, which means it’s Athletic Packet time. If your student has already done a Fall or Winter sport you will just need to have your student talk to Mrs. Oravetz in Student Activities once school resumes and she can transfer the packet.

If this is your student’s first Athletic packet for the year, one of the key items is a physical form that must be completed by a doctor. You can either take it to your child’s personal physician or there will be a sports physical night sometime in mid to late January where your student can have a sports physical for a nominal fee. Cyber Stacey will send out more details when they become available.
