LVCS would not exist without the work of parent volunteers.
In order for LVCS to succeed we need this strong partnership to continue.
Each of you agreed to invest 60 hours per year (or approx. 2 hours per week) to help the school achieve its mission and vision. Your support is important to LVCS and we truly depend on family participation to accomplish our goals.
We have many volunteers that have far exceeded their 60 hour commitment, and our logs indicate that we have families that have NOT been volunteering. OUR SCHOOL NEEDS YOU.
Ways to meet your volunteer commitment before the end of the school year:
1) PTO/CCEF
PTO: PTO is a vital link between home and school. We strive to create an atmosphere where teachers and administrators can do their best work so that our children can do theirs. The PTO takes a very active role in the enrichment activities of the school, while encouraging a feeling of community spirit among students, staff and parents. The PTO organizes and mobilizes the many parents that, through their volunteerism, make an active contribution to the school community. Contact (removed)
CCEF: The Choice for Children Education Foundation (CCEF) develops and maintains supplemental financial resources and community support to assure that LVCS fulfills its mission of excellence in education through competitive choice. CCEF works to develop active corporate, business, community, and educational partnerships to assure strong interest and investment in the success of LVCS. The Foundation’s main role is to fund LVCS through donations, fundraising activities, and grants. CCEF strives to fill the funding gap left by inadequate state and local funding.
