Dublin Unified School District Parent Survey

You are invited to play an important role in your child’s education. The Dublin Unified School District Annual Feedback Survey is available online. If you have not already done so please take the online survey:

Take the survey NOW at:

The link is also located on the main page of the district website at The survey only takes a few minutes to complete and is anonymous and confidential. If you have more than one child attending a Dublin school, you may receive this notice multiple times – we ask that you only take the survey once.

Dublin Student Summer Job Work Permits

Any student that is employed (age 13-17), needs a work permit. Students that are 18 but still in high school, also need a work permit.

Students can pick up the request for a work permit from Mrs. McGaha in the Career Center who will process work permits through June 11th. After that date , they will be processed by Judi Fall at the District Office.

For Out-of-Country Travelers

As you plan your summer vacations, please be aware of the following regarding international travel. According to Alameda County’s Tuberculosis Screening Policy, all schools within Alameda County must comply with the following:

‘Testing is indicated if students travel 4 weeks or more in duration in an endemic area.’

If you need to see the list of the countries and areas identified as endemic by the World Health Organization please reply to Cyber Stacey.

If you are traveling to one of these countries either during the school year or during the summer break and will be there for 4 weeks or more, your child will need medical clearance prior to attending school. Please take your child to a physician and bring a note indicating that the child is free of symptoms related to TB. Your child will need this clearance before they will be able to attend school. In addition, the child will also need to receive a TB skin test 12 weeks after their re-entry into the USA. Please provide the school with documentation of this when it is complete.

Dublin High School Fireworks Booth 2012

Dublin High PFSO, Athletic Boosters, Band Boosters are again joining to run a fireworks booth this summer. We will be at the Dublin Blvd. /Amador Plaza Road Safeway for Safe and Sane sales of TNT Fireworks between June 28-June 4. Please support our high school organizations by buying your fireworks with us and we will soon be sending out information about how you can help by volunteering to work a shift in our booth selling fireworks.

Measure E Countdown and Information

We are counting down the days until Election Day on Tuesday and we NEED YOU to help us get out the vote for Measure E!

If you have already volunteered during the campaign, we want to say a hearty thank you! If you haven’t had an opportunity yet, this is your chance.

We know that folks hang back and assume that someone else is walking or working or phoning, but the truth is that we are in urgent need of volunteers to help us during this stretch run. Please hop in!

The following are important, day we say crucial opportunities to help us pass Measure E and bring more needed funding into our schools!

Precinct Walking – Saturday, June 2

  • Meet at Dublin High anytime from 9 a.m.-noon.
  • Bring a friend, it’s more fun to walk and chat. We will be leaving literature for voters, encouraging supporters to get out and vote. You will not be put in a position to argue or convince anyone. We just want to make sure our supporters remember to vote. This is a great job for parents and students alike!

Precinct Walking – Sunday, June 3

  • Meet at Dublin High anytime from 9 a.m.-noon.
  • Phone Banking – Monday, June 4, 5:30-8:30 p.m.
  • This is a All-Hands-On-Deck phone bank session. Come and call our supporters and remind them to vote!

Phone Banking – Tuesday, June 5

  • We will be phone banking all day from 10 a.m. until the polls close at 8 p.m.
  • We will be phone banking at a private home during the morning and afternoon and moving over to Valley Care from 4-8 p.m.

As you can see, there is still much to be done as we head into the voting booths on Tuesday. Come and join us, help us make a difference.

Here’s what you need to know: There are 4,000 Dublin residents in the district with kids in our schools who have not yet turned in a ballot. We need to get them to the polls!

To volunteer for the phone banks please contact Campaign manager Matthew Cucuzza at

Class of 2014 Fundraising – Regal Movie Tickets

The Class of 2014 will be selling discounted movie tickets throughout the summer. These tickets will be available to pick up at several different homes around town for your convenience. These non-pass restricted tickets are $7.50 each.

With matinée shows running $9 and regular shows running $13, this is a significant savings. For more information or to purchase tickets, contact Yvonne at or call 828-7060 or Stacey at or call 833-0884.

Congratulations to Dublin High Student Tristan Elias!
