Thank you for this fabulous website and for keeping us informed! After recently reviewing DHS’s website, I must say I’m a little disappointed. The homepage is mostly announcements and there’s no message from the principal. In fact, I really had to search the page to find out who she was. The elementary schools in the District do a fine of job instilling confidence in their leadership as most of them feature an “about the principal” link with a personal message from the principal.
DHS is great school with so much to offer! If the District wants to succeed in its efforts to place a local bond measure on the ballot this year, it may want to consider stepping up its PR efforts a little, starting with communication on the its website.
