Dublin Parents Rally Behind Grass Roots Campaign Supporting Public Education, a parent-run organization, launched on November 25, 2009 to provide parents with a powerful voice in Dublin public school education.  Founded by James Morehead, Fallon Middle School School Site Council Co-President (2008-9), education activist and former leader of the Stop the Super Jail Campaign, will advocate on behalf of Dublin parents at the school board, school district and local school level.

In just over a week since being launched, has expanded its mailing list to include over 300 hundred parents from across Dublin, built an information-rich website (, held a well attended Online Town Hall Webinar (youTube hosted replay available: and created social media connections on Facebook and Twitter.  Since launching, has been viewed nearly 1,000 times by Dublin residents. is becoming an important resource for Dublin residents interested in the future of Dublin public education.

While is currently focused on educating Dublin parents about the charter high school proposed by Dublin Learning Corp., the long-term goal for is to become a rallying point for parents looking to improve Dublin public education through coordinated, collective campaigns.

About was founded by parents – for parents – to ensure Dublin children get the best education possible. is privately funded by parents and is independent from the Dublin Unified School District, parent faculty clubs (PFCs) and school site councils (SSCs).
