Help Wanted
*The organizers of the “RAISE YOUR CLASS” fundraiser are hoping the parent community at DHS will get involved in our fundraising efforts.
If you have connections to restaurants, services, golf courses, sports memorabilia, if you have season tickets to a sporting event and can donate a pair for one game or if your family simply wants to purchase an item to be used in our auctions…we want to hear from you!
You can also sponsor our event with a monetary contribution in exchange for advertising. We would be happy to send or email our sponsor-level packages.
We are also looking for “Friends with Class”. With a $25 donation to our event, your family will be mentioned in our event program.
If you can help in any of the above mentioned ways, please email DHSfundraising@yahoo.com.
Practice SAT / ACT Opportunity

The Club Fair is Coming

The Club Fair will be during lunch in front the cafeteria on Thursday 9/9 and in the commons area between the math/science building and student activities on Friday 9/10.
Tutoring University
Free tutoring will be offered for all DHS students in all subjects! Please look for more information to come your way soon.

Race to Nowhere
Dublin High’s PFSO will be hosting a screening of the acclaimed documentary “Race to Nowhere” on Thursday, September 30th at 7:00p.m. (Doors will open at 6:30) in the Little Theatre.
Race to Nowhere is the documentary from a concerned mother turned filmmaker who aims her camera at the high-stakes, high-pressure culture that has invaded our schools and our children’s lives.
This remarkable new film shines a light on the price young people pay for this “race to nowhere.” High-stakes testing has replaced meaningful teaching and learning. Cheating is commonplace. Stress-related illness, depression and burnout are rampant. Many young people arrive at college and the workplace unprepared and uninspired.
Attend a screening and become part of the grassroots phenomenon that is feeding a groundswell for change.
Pre-sale tickets are available for $10 at www.rtndublinhigh.eventbrite.com
Tickets can also be purchased at the door for $15. Half of the screening proceeds will go directly back to Dublin High’s PFSO. Please consider attending. You can gain valuable insight and raise money for our school at the same time!
Thank You from the Administration
The administration at DHS would like to thank parents for their patience during the construction process and our limited parking lot access. Parents are advised to drop off and pick up their students on Village Parkway.
