Prerequisite:                                   Ability to read music is recommended, basic technology skills and ability to maneuver software

Graduation:                                     Fulfills Fine Arts requirement

College Prep:                                   Fulfills CSU/UC Fine Arts credit

This is a non-performance course. The goal is to prepare students to take the AP Music Theory exam in May. Students will be taught college/university level music theory. They will study the fundamental building blocks of musical notation, chord structures, harmonics, composers and stylistic nuances. This course will follow the College Board recommended outline.
