Biology  introduces students to the study of life. During the first semester students learn about life on a cellular level; in the second semester emphasis is placed on the interaction of organisms with each other and the environment. Students will be expected to read at or above grade level and to be capable of independent work. Critical thinking, lab work and reporting are emphasized. This course is a UC-prep “d” lab-science course
