Prerequisite: Successful completion of Trig/Pre-Calculus and teacher recommendation

Graduation: Fulfills one year of math requirement

College prep: CSU/UC a-g approval pending

This course is a not an Advanced Placement course. Some students are not prepared for AP Calculus but they do have theskills to be successful in an introductory Calculus course. Students will study the basic calculus concepts of a first semestercollege Calculus course. Since the course is not AP, the pace of this Calculus course will be slower and this should allowstudents the opportunity to be successful in this introductory course. The course will support the standards listed above.
