World Literature at the senior level focuses on multi-cultural subject matter, both fiction and non-fiction.  Students read the works of a variety of world writers dealing with universal themes in poetry, short stories, plays, and novels.  Teachers expect students to complete an extensive amount of reading outside of class. In preparation for college, students write both the College Application Essay and expository responses to argument, as well as timed essays.
