Let Your Voice Be Heard

You are invited to play an important role in your child’s education. The Dublin Unified School District Annual Feedback Survey is available online now at: http://tinyurl.com/dusd2011

The survey only takes a few minutes to complete and is anonymous and confidential. If you have more than one child attending a Dublin school, we ask that you only take the survey once. This survey is one way to measure progress towards the Dublin Unified School District’s education goals. By participating in this survey, you are adding your voice to the future of education in Dublin. Results will be used by the district and school administration to see what’s working and what needs to be improved.

Special Thanks to our Parent Reps!

The PFSO would like to take the opportunity to thank our Parent Reps:

  • Senior Reps: Deb Lloyd, Tanya Pittson and Cheryl DeGuzman
  • Junior Reps: Terri Dyer, Kristen Finn, and Shari Jackman
  • Sophomore Rep: Stephanie Theard
  • Freshman Reps: Stacey Maloney and Yvonne Nickles

The majority of the parent community probably isn’t aware of the depth of volunteerism needed to be a parent rep. These ladies work tirelessly throughout the year, EVERY YEAR, for FOUR YEARS!! Without their kindness and dedication to our students, there would be no grad night, no senior picnic, senior breakfast, prom, and the list goes on and on. If you get a chance to see these ladies, please make sure to take the opportunity to thank them for the great job they are doing!!

Dublin High School PFSO Board for the 2011/12 School Year

  • Sophomore Class Parent Reps: Stacey Maloney and Yvonne Nickles
  • Freshman Class Parent Reps: Tamara Elias and Patricia Wilcox

The PFSO would like to thank outgoing President, Charlene Beasley for her leadership this year. We would also like to thank Ken Young for his tireless work ethic over many years at Dublin High School. Ken and his wife, Cindy will be sorely missed at DHS.

Thank You

This newsletter couldn’t be put together without the help of some great people. I wanted to thank DHS Administrator Theresa Young. Without the help of Ms. Young, the PFSO newsletter would not exist.

I would also like to thank Yvonne Nickles and Charlene Beasley who were my editors and fact-checkers. I appreciate your efforts each and every month ladies!

Sincerely, Stacey Maloney
