The honors course in American Literature is a chronological and thematic approach to major writers and literary movements from the 17th through the 21st centuries.  This course focuses on both fiction and nonfiction as students gain proficiency in reading independently. Students explore a variety of writing genres with emphasis on short and long analytical essays.
